Russians Milana Bekulova and Tatyana Minina failed to win any prizes at the Taekwondo Grand Prix series stadium in Paris.
Bekulova lost to Chinese Wang Xiaol in the quarterfinals in the weight category up to 49 kg. Olympic silver medalist Minina, who competes in the 57kg weight category, was due to face Britain’s Jade Jones in the second round, but the Russian withdrew from the competition.
Russian athletes perform in Paris in neutral status under the flag of the World Taekwondo Federation.
The qualifying points tournament for the 2024 Games will end on September 3.
