Chairman of the Investigative Committee of the Russian Federation Alexander Bastrykin instructed the head of the Main Investigative Committee of the Investigative Committee of Russia for the Moscow region Alexander Starikov to submit a report on the progress of the investigation of the criminal case and the circumstances. of the death of a 17-year-old boy during boxing training in Vidnoye, according to the department’s Telegram channel.

Earlier it was reported that the Investigative Committee of the Moscow region opened a criminal case in connection with the death of a 17-year-old boy during boxing training in Vidnoye. According to the investigation, on September 1, 2023, a minor at the stadium, during training using protective equipment, got into a fight with another minor. Unharmed, the teenager lost his balance and fell backwards onto a metal fence, after which he fell onto the artificial surface of the treadmill, where he died without regaining consciousness.

Investigating authorities of the Main Investigative Committee of the Moscow Region Investigative Committee opened criminal proceedings under Part 1 of Art. 109 of the Criminal Code of the Russian Federation (causing death by negligence). A forensic examination has been scheduled.
