Former undisputed American heavyweight boxing world champion mike tyson said he considers him a compatriot John Jones MMA’s greatest fighter.
Tyson is 57 years old, in the professional ring he won 50 wins (44 by knockout), suffered six losses, two fights were declared invalid. From 1987 to 1990 he was the undisputed world heavyweight champion.
– Best MMA fighter? I like it a lot. Jon Jones, Khabib (Nurmagomedov), lots of new good fighters. If you had to pick one, I’d say it’s Jones. Because despite all these difficulties, everything he had to go through, he managed to remain a champion, said Tyson in an interview with the Complex Youtube channel.
Jones is the UFC heavyweight champion and tops the promotions standings regardless of weight class. The 36-year-old fighter has 27 wins and 1 loss in MMA.
