WBC World Heavyweight Champion Tyson Fury and former UFC Heavyweight Champion Francis Ngannou held the first duel of views before the joint battle.
Fury came out shirtless and tried to provoke an opponent. At the end of the meeting, the fighters stood in a boxing pose, after which they shook hands.
The fight between Fury and Ngannou will take place on October 28 in Riyadh, the capital of Saudi Arabia. The WBC granted Tyson a special permit to fight the former UFC champion.
Riyadh’s championship belt will be at stake in the Fury-Ngannou fight. The British promoter Frank Warren presented the special trophy at a joint press conference.
Fury defeated Derek Chisora in his last fight by TKO in December 2022. Ngannou will fight his first boxing fight. The Franco-Cameroonian fighter defeated Cyril Gan in his last MMA fight at UFC 270 in January 2022.
