The Ukrainian boxer could face the former undisputed champion of the lightweight division.
Vasily Lomachenko’s next opponent is former undisputed lightweight champion George Kambosos. This was announced by the promoter of Ukrainian boxer Bob Arum.
The head of Top Rank confirmed again that Lomachenko has taken a break from boxing, and therefore the next fight will not take place until 2024.
“Lomachenko was cheated in the fight with Haney, as if by him. And so it seems that this fight is controversial in terms of determining the winner.
Lomachenko, it must be assumed, rested. Maybe we’ll try to get him to fight Kambosos in Australia next year,” said Arum in comments to Pro Boxing Fans.
We remind you, Kambosos said earlier that he plans to fight Lomachenko next.
