President of the Ultimate Fighting Championship (UFC) Dana White praised Russian heavyweight Alexander Volkov following his victory over Australian Tai Tuivasa at UFC 293 in Sydney.
Volkov beat Tuivasa with a move called Ezekiel choke in the second round on Sunday.
— If we are talking about exceeding expectations, then this struggle was justified. If you look at the monster that Tuivasa fought, the arm length advantage, (Volkov’s) strength, you know, the size difference and all that… Ty had an incredible fight,” said White on the UFC website.

Volkov has 37 wins and 10 losses in MMA, the 34-year-old Russian has won three consecutive debuts.
