Fighter Mineev – Carvalho: “Don’t forget to take out Russian health insurance”

Russian fighter Vladimir Minev advised his Brazilian opponent Rafael Carvalho to get Russian health insurance and “take crutches with him” because he will need them after the fight.

Mineev will fight with the Brazilian according to the rules of kickboxing on September 15 in Elista when leaving the SVO zone. The Russian fighter received the call-up in September last year and joined the Russian armed forces in February 2023.

— Rafael Carvalho, great fighting spirit. That’s the only thing you need to get in the ring with me. That’s right, about your breathtaking sweat, I didn’t quite understand what you meant. But Russian paratroopers are not afraid of anything. No sweat, no blood, no dirt, no cold. So come on, I’m waiting for you. And don’t forget to take out Russian health insurance. Take crutches with you, you will need them after the fight,” Mineev said in a video message posted on Telegram.

Mineev held his last fight under MMA rules in October 2021, defeating Magomed Ismailov by technical knockout. The fighter’s MMA stats are 16 wins, 1 loss, and 1 draw.
