Athletistic/ Boxing. Mexican boxer Saul “Canelo” Alvarez Eddie Reynoso’s trainer is sure his ward will knock out Kazakh boxer Gennady Golovkin in the September 17 fight in Las Vegas.

“Without a doubt, we are in a very tough fight. We will enter the ring after the loss, and that will raise the stakes. Saul has become more motivated, and this time we will win by knockout. I think you will see the same than in the second fight. Pressure and the desire to fight. We will do what Saul knows how to do. We will win and we will do it convincingly. We have something to prove, because we just lost,” said Reynoso.

Alvarez and Golovkin have met twice. On September 16, 2017, a draw was registered between them, and on September 15, 2018, the Mexican won by majority decision of the judges.

Gennady Golovkin fought his last fight to date on April 9, 2022 with Japanese boxer Ryota Murata, whom he defeated by technical knockout in the ninth round. Golovkin’s stats are 42 wins, 1 loss and 1 draw.

Saul “Canelo” Alvarez last entered the ring on May 7, 2022. He lost to Russian Dmitry Bivol via unanimous decision. Canelo has 57 wins, 2 losses and 2 draws.
