Fury admitted that he was no longer tempted by the idea of fighting Usyk. He recalled that in 2006 the Ukrainian was beaten by the American Shawn Porter in the weight category up to 75 kilograms.
“I don’t want to box with Usyk. He was still beaten by Daniel Dubois. Even if it doesn’t matter anymore. But he was definitely knocked out with a blow to the chest. He’s just a weakling .
He lost to Shawn Porter. Yes, welterweight! I’m no longer interested in getting in the ring against him. My first stop is Francis Ngannou, my second is the bank,” Fury said in an interview with IFL TV.
Tyson Fury will meet Cameroonian MMA fighter Francis Ngannou in a boxing match in Riyadh (Saudi Arabia) on October 28.
