The previous record in 2023 was just under 32 thousand
There are two months left until the UFC’s main event of the year. On November 11, the organization’s 295th tournament will take place in Madison Square Garden in New York. The main event of the evening should be a heavyweight title fight between current UFC division champion Jon Jones and former champion belt holder Stipe Miocic. The event, which promises to be one of the most significant in recent times, is already breaking records.
According to media reports, the most expensive ticket for UFC-295 was sold for $112,236. This is almost four times more than the highest similar figure this year. It is reported that for the evening of UFC-287, the main fight of which was the middleweight championship fight between Alex Pereira and Israel Adensanya (Gilbert Benz and Jorge Masvidal met in the co-main fight), the most expensive ticket “went” for $31,730. However, it is worth noting that tickets for UFC 295 are currently available at prices ranging from $800 to $8,000.
Jon Jones is an MMA and UFC legend. The 36-American had 28 professional fights, won 27 and lost one by disqualification due to illegal elbow strikes. Jones is the youngest champion in UFC history (he won his first title at 23 years old), and a long-time leader in the organization’s P4P rating.

John lost his title twice not in the Octagon, but as a result of disqualifications. For the first time – in 2015 after an accident and leaving the scene of an accident. The second time – a year later due to the use of doping drugs. For the third time, he left the title on his own, declaring in 2020 his desire to rise to a higher category. Jones’ thoughts and disputes with the UFC lasted almost three years, until in March of this year Jones returned to the Octagon with a victory over Cyril Gun in a fight for the vacant heavyweight belt, which was left by Francis Ngannou.
Miocic, 41, is a two-time UFC heavyweight champion. Stipe defended his championship title four times, three times in a row. This is the organization’s heavyweight record. In addition, Miocic holds the record for most fight night bonus awards in the division (he received the bonus nine times). Stipe has 20 wins in 24 professional fights. The last time he entered the octagon was in March 2021, losing by knockout to Francis Ngannou (by the way, Miocic defeated him in 2018). And for the sake of a fight with Jones, he returns to the UFC again.
Let us note that Georgian middleweight Roman Dolidze will fight in the co-main fight of the evening, and 39-year-old American Derek Brunson (24 wins, 9 losses) is named as his possible opponent. Dolidze was the world champion according to the Ukrainian promotion WWFC, and had eight fights in the UFC: six wins and two losses. In New York, Roman will try to overcome the failure in his last fight: in March of this year he lost by decision to Martin Vettori.
