Russian middleweight champion fighter from AMC Fight Nights Vladimir Minev beat the Brazilian Rafael Carvalho in a fight according to the rules of kickboxing at the Lotus Cup tournament in Elista.
This victory was Mineev’s third in a row in kickboxing fights, dating back to September 16 last year. Carvalho was previously the Bellator league middleweight champion.
The fight ended in the second round with a knockout victory for Mineev.
Since February 2023, Mineev has served in the military special operations zone. After receiving the summons in September 2022, Mineev joined the First Army Corps of the DPR.
In the co-main event of the evening, Russian fighter Vladislav Tuinov defeated China’s Li Hu by knockout in the second round.
