The undefeated American heavyweight plans to return to the ring in November, on the undercard of the Stevenson-De Los Santos fight
Promoter Bob Arum called the likely fight of his ward, the invincible heavyweight, “ideal” Jared Andersonagainst the recent challenger for the WBA belt Daniel Dubois.
“Perfect. If Frank Warren [промоутер Дюбуа] give it to me, we will arrange a fight,” Arum said.
“Anderson will fight again in November, I think it will be Thursday the 16th in Vegas in a big event with Shakur Stevenson. Formula 1 racing week in Las Vegas.
“So Anderson will fight four times this year and we hope he will fight four more times next year and then we are going to fight for the world title,” the 91-year-old promoter concluded.
Recall, according to Arum, undefeated heavyweight Jared Anderson (16-0, 15 KOs) plans to return to the ring on the undercard of the fight for the vacant WBC lightweight title between Shakur Stevenson and Edwin De Los Santos. The fight is scheduled for November 16 in Las Vegas. The reserve date is December 9 in New York.
At the end of August, Jared defeated Ukrainian Andrey Rudenko by technical knockout in the fifth round. In early July, the American defeated former world heavyweight champion Charles Martin by unanimous decision.
Dubois lost to WBA/WBO/IBF/IBO heavyweight world champion Alexander Usyk by technical knockout in the ninth round on August 26 in Wroclaw.
