Olympic freestyle wrestling champion, Russian Zaurbek Sidakov defeated Georgian Avtandil Kenchadze in qualifying for the World Championships held in Belgrade.
The fight in the weight category up to 74 kg ended with a score of 7:6 in favor of the Russian.
Sidakov will meet Games bronze medalist Bekzod Abdurakhmonov of Uzbekistan in the 1/16 final.
The World Championships in Belgrade will end on September 24. The Russians are participating in the tournament in neutral status.
