Russian freestyle wrestler Uguev lost in bronze fight at World Championships

Russian freestyle wrestler Zaur Uguev failed to win bronze at the World Championships in Belgrade in the weight category up to 57 kg.

In the fight for third place, the Olympic champion lost to the representative of Albania Zelimkhan Abakarov.

Later on Monday, Uguev will fight for an Olympic license against Meirambek Kartbay of Kazakhstan.

The winner of the second bronze medal was Armenian Arsen Harutyunyan. The Japanese Ray Higuchi and the Serbian Stevan Micic will face each other in the final.

Uguev is 28 years old, he is the Tokyo Olympic champion and double world champion.

The World Championship in Serbia will end on September 24, the Russians will participate in the tournament in neutral status.
