Russian freestyle wrestler Zaur Uguev took fifth place at the World Championships in the weight category up to 57 kg and won a license for the Olympic Games in Paris.
The Russian, who lost in the fight for bronze, defeated the Kazakhstani Meirambek Kartbay in the fight for the license with a score of 4:0.
Serbian Stevan Micic won the gold medal in this category, beating Japanese Ray Higuchi in the final. Bronze went to Arsen Harutyunyan of Armenia and Albanian representative Zelimkhan Abakarov.
Uguev is 28 years old, he is the Tokyo Olympic champion and double world champion.
The World Championship in Serbia will end on September 24, the Russians will participate in the tournament in neutral status.
