Olympic freestyle wrestling champion, Russian Zaurbek Sidakov won gold at the world championships in the weight category up to 74 kg.
Sidakov defeated American Kyle Dake with a score of 10:7 in the decisive fight of the tournament in Belgrade. After finishing in the top five at the world championships, Sidakov earned a license for the 2024 Olympics in Paris.

The bronze medalists in this category were the representative of Serbia Hetik Tsabolov and the Japanese Daichi Takatani.
Sidakov became a three-time world champion, he also won gold at the Tokyo Olympics and won the European Games.
