– This is my second time in Belgrade, two trips – I won two gold medals here. In 2020 he won the Individual World Cup and this year the World Championship. It is a shame that next year the Olympic Games will not take place in Belgrade.
— To whom do you dedicate this gold medal?
— Two days ago it was my birthday, I wanted to give myself a present. This is the most pleasant gift for me. And I also want to dedicate this victory to my mother and my brothers, they believed so much in this victory. My mother is a fighter herself, she motivates me so much, she is a strong-willed woman. As much as my brothers do it for me, a father probably doesn’t do the same for his son. Mom is monitoring all my contractions, she’s not worried at the moment. I also thank my coaches, they did so much for me,” Usmanov told .
