“I think of Tank. This guy is smart and very strong. And, without a doubt, he has a lot of self-confidence,” Alvarez said in a chat with reporters.
In his last fight in late May, Davis defeated Rolando Romero (14-1-0, 12 KOs) by sixth-round knockout, defending the regular WBA lightweight title (up to 61.2kg).
Earlier, “Tank” announced the end of cooperation with Floyd Mayweather.
