Czech fighter Jiri Prochazka and Brazilian Alex Pereira will fight for the vacant UFC light heavyweight title, the promotion’s head announced on social media Dana White .
The fight will take place on November 11 at UFC 295 in New York. The UFC’s 30th anniversary event will be highlighted by a heavyweight title fight between Americans Jon Jones and Stipe Miocic.
In July, American fighter Jamal Hill announced his decision to relinquish the UFC light heavyweight title due to an Achilles tendon injury and the need for surgery.
Prochazka has 29 victories in MMA, suffered 3 defeats and another fight ended in a draw. Pereira has eight wins and two losses.
