The Englishman Edwards competed in 25 MMA fights and won 21 victories with 3 defeats; another fight of the 32-year-old fighter was declared disabled. Covington, 35, has 17 victories in 20 fights.
UFC tournaments are broadcast live on the television channels of the holding company. The next UFC Vegas 79 show will take place on September 23 in Moscow, during which Rafael Fiziev will face Mateusz Gamrot. The main card broadcast on begins on Sunday at 02:00 Moscow time.
