President of the International Boxing Association (IBA) Umar Kremlev on Tuesday, June 28, he met the Russian WBC, IBF and WBO light heavyweight world champion Artur Beterbiev and personally congratulated the titled boxer on his victory over American Joe Smith Jr. The Kremlin gave Beterbiev the keys to a BMW car.
On June 18, Beterbiev defeated Smith in the second round in New York and added the WBO title to his WBC and IBF belts. On Tuesday, Beterbiev flew to Moscow, after which he went to meet with the Kremlin.
