Ukrainian Khegay topped the WBO featherweight rankings

In July, Arnold achieved his 20th victory in the ring.

Ukrainian featherweight boxer Arnold Khegai (20-1-1, 12 KOs) led WBO rating in its weight category.

The WBO featherweight title is held by Robeisy Ramirez, who will defend his title against Rafael Espinosa on November 4. Note that Khegai previously took second place in the ranking. Behind the Ukrainian were Sergio Chirino Sanchez and Stephen Fulton.

In July, Khegay won by technical knockout in the 4th round over Nicaraguan representative Freddy Lainez as part of a boxing evening in Dubai. It was Khegay’s first fight since December 2022, when he defeated Mexico’s Eduard Baez by split decision.

Khegai has 20 victories in the professional ring, his triumph over Lainez was the fourth in a row in his career. The Ukrainian suffered his only defeat in January 2020, losing to Stephen Fulton in the fight for the WBO intercontinental champion title in the second bantamweight division.
