Belarusian ASA fighter Artem Damkovsky said he would not end his career yet, but would continue to test the younger generation.
On Friday, at the ACA 163 tournament in Minsk, Damkovsky defeated Russian Lom-Ali Nalgiev by technical knockout in the first round, who could not continue the fight due to a leg injury.
“Immediately after the fight, we thanked each other. He is also a veteran. He came to M-1, and I was already leaving. Our fight could therefore have taken place 10 years ago. I was determined for this fight, but this is how it went. Before the fight, I told myself that if I won, I would hang up my gloves. But mine don’t agree yet. So… (I continue). Out of seven fights in ASA, I have two victories, but I also receive trials from worthy people. The younger generation can go through me. You came through me, so you can move forward. In general, I will be a sieve. Following the results of this fight, I would like to thank you for your support. I hope in the next fight, goodbye. If I don’t have a fight, it’s my last, ”reports the correspondent of , reporting Damkovsky’s words.
