UFC fighter Chavkat Rakhmonov representing Kazakhstan, will hold his next fight against the American Stephen Thompson at the UFC 296 tournament, reports the promotion’s press service.
The tournament will take place on December 16 in Las Vegas at the T‑Mobile Arena.
Rakhmonov, 28, fought his previous fight in March this year, beating Geoff Neal by choke in the third round.
Former UFC welterweight title challenger Stephen Thompson, 40, defeated Kevin Holland by TKO last December.
