Sidelnikov said he would not fight Nemkov for money.

Russian heavyweight Kirill Sidelnikov told he wouldn’t fight his compatriot for money Vadim Nemkov.

Already a former Bellator champion and winner of the light heavyweight Grand Prix, Nemkov has 16 victories and two defeats in MMA. Nemkov previously announced he was leaving the light heavyweight belt and moving up to the heavyweight division.

—Who will you never fight with?

— Difficult question, I haven’t thought about it.

— Vadim Nemkov now…

– No, no, not with anyone from the team. We fought every day in sparring, and also in a real fight… No! I have known Vadim since childhood.

– Apparently, I moved so abruptly from one topic to another. I wanted to know your opinion on Vadim Nemkov’s prospects in the heavyweight division.

“Then I will finish my last thought.” Not for money! And let’s move on to your question… Vadim has huge prospects, he can work with heavy weights, he has excellent speed, excellent physical endurance. It’s really heavy. That a lot of people are worried about his transition. He is the future Bellator heavyweight champion.

Earlier, Sidelnikov told that due to a conflict with Fedor, Emelianenko was no longer a member of the Fedor team, for which Nemkov also plays. Multiple combat sambo world champion, Sidelnikov has 14 victories and seven defeats in MMA. Sidelnikov fought his last mixed martial arts fight in July 2022 at the Ural FC 1 tournament, defeating Brazilian Fabio Maldonado. Before that, the fighter played in leagues such as Bellator, Rizin, Fight Nights, M-1.

Sidelnikov will make his professional boxing debut at the Ural FC 4 tournament, which will be held on October 20 in Perm as part of the forum “Russia is a sports power”, in a fight with a Dutchman of Moroccan origin, Nidal Bikiri ( kickboxing record 13–3).
