Fury’s father: Zhilei knocks out Usik because Alexander is too small

The Ukrainian can’t cope with Zhang’s punches

John Furyfather of WBC world heavyweight champion Tyson Furycommented on the possible fight for the interim WBO heavyweight champion Zhang Zhilei with the world heavyweight champion according to WBO/WBA/IBF/IBO versions Alexander Usik.

“When Zhang is on fire, he will give problems to any heavyweight except Tyson because my son is in a different league. Zhilei knocks out Usik because Alexander is too small. Once Zhang hits Usik, he will knock him out.”

“But, again, Usyk can spin, move around the ring and work the jab to win on points. However, Zhilei will catch him, since Usik has already shown that he cannot handle the power of heavyweights. So if Zhilei hits him, then you can wish him good night.”

“However, Zhilei has slow legs. He has fast hands, but Zhang’s legs don’t match their speed. He has terribly slow legs and fast hands. What will you do? It’s like a Bentley without the keys: you can’t drive it unless someone pushes it.”

Let us remind you that Zhilei defeated Joe Joyce in a rematch, which took place in London. Zhang knocked out the Briton in the third round and immediately challenged Tyson Fury to a fight.

Usyk previously defeated Daniel Dubois in Wroclaw. His team has been negotiating with representatives of the “Gypsy King” for a long time about a unification fight. Tyson himself, apparently, is not too interested in a fight with the Ukrainian – there are other priorities in his life now.
