Three fighters from the UFC promotion are featured in the “Best Mixed Martial Arts Fighter” nomination – former lightweight champion Charles Oliveira, featherweight champion Alexander Volkanovski and middleweight champion Kamaru Usman, as well as the PFL promotion fighter Kayla Harrison.
In 2021, the award for “Best MMA fighter” was received by Russian fighter Khabib Nurmagomedov.
