The former Ukrainian light heavyweight champion named his preferred opponents for the future.
Alexander Gvozdyk is working hard to get a championship match, which means fighting the Russians. This is what the former light heavyweight champion himself said.
According to the Ukrainian boxer, his goal is to return the title, which means he has to take it away from one of the representatives of the aggressor countries.
“Right now I’m just focused on my next opponent, Isaac Rodriguez, I believe I will win this fight, after that I want to fight the best.
I want to fight Bivol and Beterbiev, I am ready for them. If I can’t fight them, I’m ready to fight Buatsi, Aziz and others,” Gvozdyk told ESNEWS.
Let’s remember that in October 2019, Gvozdyk lost to Beterbiev in a singles match and announced his retirement. The Ukrainian returned to the ring in February 2023 and will fight his third fight on his return on September 30.
