The ex-UFC champion hints that the “Gypsy King” will have a hard time fighting him
Former UFC champion Francis Ngannou teased his future opponent, WBC heavyweight title holder Tyson Furyhinting at serious health consequences for the “Gypsy King” after the head-to-head fight.
“I don’t know what the minimum medical suspension is in boxing, but I really don’t see how Tyson can fight in December after what happens on October 28th,” Francis tweeted.
Fury’s fight with Ngannou will take place on October 28 in Riyadh, the capital of Saudi Arabia. The WBC granted Tyson special permission to fight the former UFC champion.
WBO/WBA/IBF/IBO world champion Alexander Usik is going to attend this boxing evening. It is expected that at the end of the fight, the date of Alexander’s fight with Tyson Fury for the title of absolute world heavyweight champion will be officially announced. Earlier, the Ukrainian and the British signed a contract for a unification fight. The approximate dates of the confrontation are December 23 or January 2024.
