Athletistic / Boxing. Mexican boxer Saul Alvarez, undisputed super-middleweight world champion, defended his titles in a duel with American Jermell Charlo on the night of October 1. The fight took place in Las Vegas (USA).

The fight lasted all 12 rounds and ended with Alvarez winning by unanimous decision. As a result, Canelo defended the IBF, WBA, WBC and WBO championship titles in the second middleweight category.

Alvarez has 59 victories in his career, finished two fights in a draw and suffered two defeats. Charlo has 35 victories, one draw and one defeat.
