Tyson ready to fight Ukrainian for half a billion pounds
WBA, WBO, IBF and IBO World Heavyweight Champion Oleksandr Usyk reacted to the words Tyson Fury about willingness to return to the ring for a fee of 500 million pounds.
Fury said that for only half a billion pounds he is ready to fight the winner of the rematch between Usyk and Anthony Joshua.
“Fury wants 500 million? He’s probably joking. Who will give him 500 million? I also want 500 million, so what?” Usyk said.
In April, Fury announced his retirement from boxing after defeating Dillian Whyte, while Tyson has not yet vacated the WBC championship belt.
Usyk will fight his second fight with Joshua on August 20 in Saudi Arabia. In a rematch, the Ukrainian will for the first time defend the heavyweight championship belts, which he took away from Anthony last fall.
