Promoter Bob Arum said that the world heavyweight champion according to the WBC Tyson Fury will earn over $100 million for a fight with the WBO/WBA/IBF/IBO title holder Alexander Usik.
“If you told Tyson Fury he was going to make $100 million, he would be very angry. He expects to receive much more than this amount, and I think he is right. I don’t know the numbers, but it’s a lot more than $100 million.”
The conclusion of a contract between the parties of Usik and Fury became known on September 29. The preliminary dates for the fight are December 23 or January next year.
It is expected that the date of the Usyk-Fury fight will be officially announced after Tyson’s fight with ex-UFC champion Francis Ngannou, which will take place on October 28 in Riyadh, Saudi Arabia.
