Joshua: Fury is acting like a duck, he’s avoiding a fight with me

Anthony is unhappy that Tyson signed a contract to fight Usyk

Former world heavyweight champion Anthony Joshua was dissatisfied with the decision of the WBC world heavyweight champion Tyson Fury fight for the title of absolute world champion with a Ukrainian, holder of WBO/WBA/IBF/IBO belts Alexander Usik.

“Right now we need to balance everything because Fury is shying away from fighting me. I can’t say for sure that he’s avoiding me, but right now Tyson is acting like a duck. This is a fact that cannot be denied.”

Usyk and Fury have signed a contract to fight for the undisputed heavyweight title. It was reported that the fight is planned to take place on December 23 or January 2024 in Saudi Arabia.

It is expected that the date of the Usyk-Fury fight will be officially announced after Tyson’s fight with Francis Ngannou, which will take place on October 28 in Riyadh, Saudi Arabia.

Joshua in his last fight knocked out Finn Robert Helenius, who was urgently invited to the fight instead of Dillian Whyte, who failed a doping test.
