The former WBA lightweight world champion chose his favorite in the fight for the title of absolute champion.

Oleksandr Usik has a good chance to defeat Tyson Fury and win the title of absolute world heavyweight champion. Ray Mancini thinks so.

According to the former WBA lightweight world champion, although the Briton is bigger in size, the holder of the WBA, WBO, IBO and IBF belts has proven that he can beat bigger men than him.

“I’m for Usik. Fury’s a tough bruiser, he knows how to move. I’ve never been a fan of Fury in the sense that he’s supposed to be a great boxer, but he’s not. He beat Wilder, but Wilder is Wilder, a big puncher, but he can do more that he can’t.

Usyk’s boxing IQ is high. He has amateur experience behind him, this guy is a true professional. He doesn’t shoot, he knows how to box with big people. I’ll bet on him.

I think he will give Fury problems all the way and beat Tyson. If Fury hadn’t deemed him unacceptable, he would have agreed to the fight by now. But that didn’t happen,” Mancini was quoted as saying by Boxing Social.

Let’s remember that the promoter previously named a condition under which the fight between Usik and Fury would not take place.
