American boxer Kevin Johnson will receive a Russian passport in the near future, a decision of a special commission is expected, the promoter told Vladimir Khryunov .
On April 1, Johnson contacted Russian President Vladimir Putin to request Russian citizenship.
— All approvals have been completed, we are awaiting the decision of the citizenship commission. Yes, everything will be decided in the near future,” Khryunov told .
