Usik remains the leader in the heavyweight boxing rankings according to The Ring magazine

The top 10 included Cuban Frank Sanchez and Swede Otto Wallin

Authoritative magazine The Ring provided updated rating best boxers in the world in the heavyweight division.

The leader of the rating remains the owner of belts according to WBO/WBA/IBF/IBO, Ukrainian Alexander Usik. Following him are WBC world champion Tyson Fury and former world champion Anthony Joshua.

Temporary WBO belt holder Zhang Zhilei moved up to fourth place in the rankings. Let us note that Cuban Frank Sanchez and Swede Otto Wallin entered the top 10.

At the end of September, it became known that Usyk and Fury signed a contract to fight for the undisputed title in the heavyweight category. It was reported that the fight is planned to take place on December 23 or January 2024 in Saudi Arabia.

The contract for the undisputed heavyweight title between Usyk and Fury contains a rematch clause. The clause applies to both boxers; the loser can initiate a re-fight.

Oleksandr Usyk, in his last fight on August 26 in Wroclaw, defeated Daniel Dubois by technical knockout in the ninth round. Fury will fight against Francis Ngannou on October 28 in Riyadh, the capital of Saudi Arabia.
