Athletistic/MMA. UFC director Dana White has confirmed that starting at UFC Fight Night 229, fighters will once again be able to enter the ring with their country’s flag.
“We brought the flags back. When I was on vacation watching the Mexican Independence Day tournament, the lack of flags just pissed me off. And then I thought, ‘Who cares, we bring back the flags.”
Can Russian fighters go out with a flag? Yes. Everyone knows my attitude to various issues. I do not care ! People have become too tender, too sensitive to everything. The flags are back,” White said at a news conference.
