Athletistic/MMA. Bellator lightweight champion, Russian MMA fighter Usman Nurmagomedov, opened up about who he’s trying for in each fight.
“It’s everything for our family. I just want to continue my uncle’s legacy. And it’s in this format – not losing a single round to anyone. And we will continue to work like that.
Khabib, my older brother, thank you for everything! Hugs, see you soon!” Usman said in an interview in the octagon immediately after the fight.
On the night of October 8, the Bellator 300 tournament will take place in San Diego (California, USA). In the main fight of the event, Usman Nurmagomedov met the American Brent Primus. The fight lasted five rounds and ended with Nurmagomedov winning by unanimous decision.
Usman’s uncle is Abdulmanap Nurmagomedov, the father of Khabib Nurmagomedov. He died on July 3, 2020 at the age of 57 after contracting COVID-19 and complications caused by the virus.
