The fight will take place on October 28 in the capital of Saudi Arabia, Riyadh. The WBC granted Tyson special permission to fight the former UFC champion. The Riyadh championship belt will be at stake in the Fury-Ngannou fight. The British promoter Frank Warren presented a special trophy at a joint press conference.
After the fight with Ngannou, the Briton will meet with Ukrainian Alexander Usik in a fight for the title of absolute world heavyweight champion. The exact date of the fight for the undisputed title will depend on Tyson’s health after the meeting with Francis.
