The legendary American boxer favors the fighter who has already been defeated twice by the Ukrainian.

Evander Holyfield does not believe that Oleksandr Usyk is capable of winning the title of absolute champion. The legendary former American boxer, who himself owns all the super heavyweight belts, prefers Tyson Fury in a possible fight.

At the same time, the 60-year-old Holyfield for some reason believes that there is a person who has a chance to dethrone Fury – the former two-time champion Anthony Joshua, whom Usyk has already defeated twice.

“No, Usyk will not beat Fury. I think Tyson Fury has shown that he is a great fighter. Of all the fighters, he is the one who can work on himself, and making adjustments on yourself makes you better.

Joshua is taller than Usyk and they are both strong so it comes down to speed. I think Anthony Joshua is the ideal fighter to beat Fury because they are the same size. It’s all the same when these two fight – it all comes down to who’s the strongest.

Everything seems to be in Anthony Joshua’s favor, but until that happens it will be a guessing game,” Holyfield mentioned on Boxing Social.

We remind you that earlier the ex-world champion assessed Usik’s chances in the fight with Fury.
