Russian UFC fighter Irina Alekseeva commented on the promotion president’s decision Dana White once again allowing fighters to enter the octagon with a flag.
Alekseeva will fight on the night of October 15 at the Fight Night 230 tournament. Her opponent will be the undefeated Briton Melissa Dixon.
“I heard this news today and I was very happy. I have already asked my relatives to find the flag, and if they succeed, I will be happy to go out. I’m currently flying, training and unfortunately I won’t have any free time. But if they find me a flag, I will accept it,” Metaratings.ru quotes Alekseeva.
Alekseeva, 33, has five victories and one defeat. On April 30 of this year, she made her successful UFC debut, defeating Stephanie Egger by submission in the first round.
