Mike Tyson admits which knockout he is most proud of. The former absolute world champion in the heavyweight division said he was proud of the early finish of the fight, which took place in 1988.

The 57-year-old New York native said he believed the knockout that took place in January 1988 was just that. Then in Atlantic City he met the legendary American champion Larry Holmes. Then, the 21-year-old Tyson won by technical knockout in the fourth round, defending the title of absolute champion. Holmes suffered the third loss of his career.

“What knockout am I most proud of? The knockout against Larry Holmes. He outboxed Muhammad Ali six years before I cried. And I said I have to get revenge,” Tyson told the Daily Mail.

Let’s remember that Mike Tyson used to criticize modern heavyweight boxers.
