The promoter gave a bold prediction for the second fight between the boxers
Promoter Eddie Hearn shared his expectations from the second match between Anthony Joshua and world heavyweight champion Oleksandr Usyk.
“I think Joshua will stop Usyk in 9 rounds. It’s not a popular opinion, but I believe it from watching the work that Anthony has done with Robert Garcia.”
The second fight between Usyk and Joshua will officially take place on August 20 this year in Saudi Jeddah. The boxers will once again fight for the WBA, WBO, IBF and IBO heavyweight title.
Last autumn, Alexander defeated the Briton by unanimous decision and won the heavyweight championship belts. The winner of the fight can fight Tyson Fury for the title of undisputed world heavyweight champion.
The rematch between Usyk and Joshua will be broadcast live on the DAZN streaming platform and will be broadcast on the PPV (pay-per-view) system.
