Athletistic/MMA. Russian mixed martial arts fighter Roman Kopylov commented on the announcement of the possible cancellation of the fight between Paulo Costa and Khamzat Chimaev, scheduled for the UFC 294 tournament.
“I am ready to replace Kostya and meet with Chimaev,” Kopylov wrote on his social media account.
Earlier, UFC president Dinah White suggested that the fight, scheduled for October 21 in Abu Dhabi, could be canceled due to the Brazilian fighter’s injury.
Roman Kopylov, 31, has four consecutive first victories under the auspices of the UFC. His last opponent was Josh Fremd.
