Anthony lost to the Ukrainian by unanimous decision
Former World Heavyweight Champion Anthony Joshua remembered his first fight against Oleksandr Usyk, which ended in the defeat of the British. According to him, during the fight, he did not think he was losing.
“I swear I thought I was winning. I thought I looked like Muhammad Ali… I didn’t have any impression that I was losing. That’s why when they announced Usyk’s name, I thought, ‘Hm?’,” Joshua said.
The second fight between Usyk and Joshua will take place on August 20 in Jeddah, Saudi Arabia. Boxers will fight for the WBA, WBO, IBF and IBO heavyweight titles.
Last fall, Usyk defeated Anthony via unanimous decision to win the heavyweight championship belts. The winner of the fight can fight Tyson Fury for the undisputed heavyweight title of the world.
The rematch between Usyk and Joshua will be broadcast live on the DAZN streaming platform and will be broadcast on the PPV (pay-per-view) system.
