The former IBF and WBA world champion shared his expectations from the fight for the absolute champion title.
Tyson Fury will have an advantage against Oleksandr Usik due to his size. This is what former IBF and WBA world champion Carl Frampton said.
According to him, Usik is a strong boxer and has achieved a lot in other weight categories, but the British champion is too strong for him.
“That’s what we all want. As a boxing fan and pundit, I’m excited to work on this boxing night. It’s really annoying.
I think I have an idea of who the best super heavyweight boxer on the planet is, but we’ll finally know for sure.
It will be a tough night for Oleksandr Usyk. I think Tyson is so big, he uses his size. It’s unfair to say that this is the only way Fury can win the fight. He’s very good, his hands are fast, he knows what he’s doing.
I love everything about Usyk. I like what he’s done in other weight classes, but I just think it’s a huge step for him,” Frampton told Boxing Social.
We remind you that the fight between Fury and Ngannou will take place on October 28 in the capital of Saudi Arabia, Riyadh. The Briton’s fight with Usyk is planned to be organized on December 23 or January 2024.
Previously, a prominent promoter questioned the holding of the Usyk-Fury fight.
