World champion according to WBC, WBO and IBF light heavyweight titles Artur Beterbiev on social networks announced preparations for a fight with the British Callum Smith .
Beterbiev will defend his light heavyweight belts on January 13 in Quebec, Canada, against a WBC mandatory challenger. The undefeated Beterbiev has 19 victories (all by knockout). Smith recorded 29 wins and one loss. Initially, this fight was scheduled to take place in August, but the meeting was postponed due to the Russian’s health problems.
Beterbiev posted a video on the treadmill from the gym, where he began full preparation for the fight with Smith.
