President of the International Boxing Association (IBA) Umar Kremlev awarded one million rubles to boxers of the Russian women’s national team who performed 100 push-ups.
The Kremlin posted a video of push-ups and handing out cash rewards on its Telegram channel. In addition to cash prizes, the athletes received smartphones from the hands of the head of the IBA.
– How can you motivate girls differently – just sports, sports and more sports. And everything else will follow if you have will, patience and the desire to work. Lead by example! —Kremlev wrote in the video description.
Previously, the IBA allowed boxers from Russia and Belarus to participate in international competitions. Athletes competed under national flags at the women’s and men’s world championships.
