Promoter Timofey Tszyu will choose the boxer’s next opponent, WBO President Francisco Valcarcel told , responding to a question about a possible fight between the son of Konstantin Tszyu and American Jermell Charlo.
On Sunday night in Sydney, Tszyu defeated American Brian Mendoza by unanimous decision in the first defense of the WBO junior middleweight title. The Australian representative had already won this belt without a fight when Charlo left it for a fight with Mexican Saul Alvarez, in which the American lost by unanimous decision.

Tim Tszyu has spent all but one fight in Australia. For Mendoza, 29, this defeat is the third of his career; he also has 22 victories (16 by KO).
