The Ukrainian has not entered the ring since March 2022
Ukrainian welterweight boxer Taras Shelestyuk (19-0-1, 13 KOs) intends to return to the ring in December. The athlete also stated that he has no contracts with promoters and is a free agent.
“I’m ready to fight in December. I can’t wait to get back in the ring. The path to the 20th victory. Undefeated and I’m a free agent. No promoter, no manager or adviser,” Shelestyuk wrote on Twitter.
Earlier, Shelestyuk named the opponents with whom he is ready to fight. The Ukrainian’s list includes former world champions Keith Thurman, Yordenis Ugas and Mario Barrios.
Shelestyuk also expressed a desire to change the division. In his opinion, moving to the first welterweight division or junior middleweight will benefit his career.
Shelestyuk had his last fight in March last year. The WBA eliminator fight between the Ukrainian and Gabriel Maestre from Venezuela ended in a draw.
